The 1997 NNUN REU Program

In 1997, the National Nanofabrication Users Network hosted the very first Research Experience for Undergraduates network program.  41 REU interns joined us at the five NNUN sites for a 10-week research project.  The first network-wide convocation was held in August, at Cornell University.
