Video Training and Technical Seminars
	NNIN Sites offer video based training on a broad set of micro and nano fabrication and characterization instrumentation.  This training is available for both NNIN users and the technical community at large. A number of nanotechnology related seminars are available for viewing as well.

CNF Nanocourses
	For a number of years, CNF has offered a series of short courses to introduce new users to nanotechnology techiques. Twenty four hours of lectures cover four major topics: 1) Lithography,  2) Vacuum Technology,  3) Thin Film Technology, and 4) Thin Film Characterization. For the most part, the courses are not specific to any particular manufacturer's instruments; i.e. they are not tool training but technique training. These are archived materials. These sessions are not actively updated.

Technology and Characterization at the Nanoscale -CNF Short Course
	The Cornell Nanoscale Facility offered for the first time in June 2005, its new short course offering,  Technology and Characterization at the Nanoscale.  This is a  3 1/2 day course combining both half day lectures and half day laboratory activities. It is a replacement for the CNF Nanocourses which will no longer be offered. The first session was attended by 62 people, both students and professionals. The course was well recieved by all.  The course will be repeated at regualar intervals each January and June.

Nanotechnology Computation Workshops
	NNIN periodically holds workshops on advanced computation tools for nanotechnology. What is Nanotechnology- A lecture by Prof. Sandip Tiwari
	As part of the Technology and Characterization for Nanotechnology short course recently offered by CNF,  Prof. Sandip Tiwari presents a broad overview at the undergraduate level of the field of Nanotechnology.   A  slide and video presentation in a separate window. .
