NNIN Process and Characterization Tools

Collectively the NNIN facilities house over 700 major tools, with a value of hundreds of millions of dollars. While a major portion of what NNIN has to offer stems from the project support, process support, and technologies that NNIN sites have to offer, a major precondition is the availability of the appropriate nanotechnology tools. NNIN tools range from Ebeam lithography, to various optical lithography, thin film deposition and etching, materials characterization, and device characterization. A growing segment of the tool base covers chemistry, biology, and materials aspects of nanotechnology.
