Ed Myers

Ed Myers has expertise in a wide range of micro and nanofabrication fabrication, design, integration, process development and characterization.  Ed joined the Stanford Nanofabrication Facility in 2004. He is a Material Scientist receiving a B.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Metallurgy and Mining and a M.S. and Ph.D. from North Carolina State University in Material Science.  He has over twenty years of experience in electronics and fabrication research in semiconductors, ferroelectric nonvolatile memories, field emission flat panel displays, large area solid state p-i-n X-ray sensors for digital medical imaging applications and electronic detection of DNA.  Dr. Myers has over twenty technical publications, developed, co-chaired and edited the successful sequence of MRS symposiums on “Ferroelectric Thin Films”   He has given invited presentations at the Northern California’s IEEE and TMS Annual Electronic Materials Symposium, was a distinguished lecturer at Northern Telecom Limited, Ottawa, Onterio and Gennum Corporation, Burlington, Ontario
