Surface Science Domain Expert

Dr. Pilar Herrera-Fierro has expertise in surface analysis, AFM, SEM, electrochemistry, microfabrication and wet etches (KOH, EDP TMAH), soft lithography, Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN), ink jet printing, CMP. She has been with the LNF since 2007, and supports laboratory users and their research projects, especially focusing on projects related to chemistry and surface science. Prior to joining the LNF, Dr. Herrera-Fierro worked in industry, developing CMP and PECVD processes for a-Si based solar cells applications.
